As a Training Hub we continue to strive towards our mission of transforming and developing the Primary Care workforce through high quality education and training, one programme of work being our clinical skills training events. Although we have recently been successful in securing ongoing funding from the ICB for these training events which align to Locally Commissioned Services and the ICB Clinical Strategy, we are needing to follow new procurement processes for our trainers and therefore cannot guarantee a particular timeframe on when future dates will be available. Many Training Hubs nationally do not provide fully funded clinical skills training and we are pleased that we have been able to do so for as long as we have.

In the meantime please discuss with your PCN Educator whether there are any available funds remaining within your CPD allocation (provided by the ICB) for essential training. Otherwise training will have to be funded by the practice/PCN as the employer.

We will update you as soon as possible via our your PCN Educators, our WhatsApp broadcast groups (sign up by email syheartlandsicb.surreytraininghub@nhs.net), and Training Hub newsletter (please sign up at the bottom of the page).
