We aim to attract, develop, support and retain our health and social care professionals working across primary and community settings (GP surgeries, community clinics, care homes etc). Every practice and Primary Care Network (PCN) can access to the Surrey Training Hub resources.

Our main key functions:

Support

our workforce through a variety of approaches such as coaching, mentoring, peer support opportunities and leadership development to Practices and PCNs

Retain and attract

The Training Hub forms part of Surrey Heartlands ICB and is a model developed by Health Education England, rolled out nationally to better support the local development of the health workforce.

As well as local priorities, we work closely with arms-length bodies such as Health Education England Kent, Surrey and Sussex (HEE KSS) and NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I) to deliver against national priorities.

Surrey Training Hub is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through the development of healthcare organisations' greatest asset: Our people.
