Princess Alice Hospice offers multi-disciplinary courses for health and social care staff to learn and develop their knowledge, learn new skills and improve care for patients and families. Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing important conversations
  • Symptom management at end of life
  • Assessing and recording mental capacity at end of life
  • Planning ahead and difficult conversations
  • Cultural sensitivity and inclusion in end of life care
  • Verification by nurse of expected death
  • Syringe pumps
