Learning outcomes

By the end of this course you will be able to:

On completion of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Assess and manage common symptoms at the end of life eg pain, nausea and vomiting, constipation, dyspnoea, delirium, seizures.
  •  Consider both pharmacological and non-pharmacological management.
  • Perform opioid calculations (eg breakthrough doses, changing from oral to subcutaneous)
