Accredited Level 2
Surrey Care Certificate

In collaboration with Surrey Heartlands Health & Social Care Academy we have developed an accredited Level 2 Surrey Care Certificate programme with OCN-London. Students will receive weekly lessons in the classroom for 7 weeks & will achieve a Level 2 qualification at the end of the programme. There is no cost to the employer or the student.

Employers will need to organise practical assessments in the workplace to assess their student’s practical competencies against the 15 Care Certificate standards  (free training can be provided for this). In addition employers need to agree to release their student for 2 days to complete Manual Handling training and First Aid At Work Training if they don’t already have a valid certificate for these. The Manual Handling and First Aid training is also offered free of charge to students on this programme.

• An accredited Care Certificate which is portable across employing organisations within Surrey
