The Changing Story of Cancer

NHSE elfh in partnership with NHS Surrey Heartlands ICS, Macmillan and Cancer Research UK offer a new e-learning programme.

This e-learning aims to support health and care professionals in understanding that the outcomes for people living with, and beyond cancer, have changed and the relevance of this to their roles.

Topics covered:

  • how outcomes for people diagnosed with cancer have improved
  • why cancer can be considered a long-term condition
  • where to access further training, if required

The e-learning module takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and forms part of the continuing professional (CPD) for the health and care workforce.
