Cardiovascular Lunch and Learn Webinar 17July 2025

We are holding our 2 ^nd CVD Lunch and Learn session next Thursday, 17 ^th July, 1 - 2pm.  

We are delighted to welcome Nipa Patel Lead Pharmacist for SASSE 2 & 3 PCN,  to our ‘Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Lunch and Learn’ webinar scheduled for 17th July between 1.00 and 2.00pm.  Nipa has completed a QI project part of her role as Core20PLUS Ambassador focusing on improving CKD detection in primary care.  The presentation will include examples of areas to undertake QI project and suggested solutions.

In addition, Dr Talhi Sami, from Chiddingfold Surgery, has been embracing technology to overhaul the way his practice has engaged with patients about cardiovascular health – with dramatic results. To address these challenges, he has implemented a novel communication strategy for Lipid-Lowering Therapy (LLT) management that uses digital tools to enhance clinical practice without compromising high standards of patient care. The new virtual model has led to significant improvements in efficiency, patient engagement, and practice financial outcomes.
