Our Primary Care Workforce Tutors have been working hard to pull together their annual conference which supports local nurses working in primary care. This will be taking place on Wednesday 5^th December, 8.30am-3.30pm at Silvermere Golf Club. Last week we ran our first cohort of EMIS Web Training, which proved to be a huge success, with 98% of participants saying that they would recommend the training to their colleagues. There were over 160 local GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, administrators and managers, but to name a few, who attended the training which took place over 5 days at the University of Surrey. We are planning to run the training again in December, however next time around we will be focussing the sessions on specific topics (protocols, templates etc) rather than ability level (beginner, intermediate etc).
